We had the best night celebrating our three year old with a Circus inspired party. She loves everything dance and performing so when I though specifically of the theme “Cirque Du Sailor,” it was game over haha. We wanted to keep it pretty simple, but apparently I’m not completely capable of that. It’s too fun! Party details are at the bottom!
AMAZING cotton candy inspired cakes and treats by Sweet Tooth Fairy. Megan is a friend and one of the sweetest people ever. She really went above and beyond and I just about died when I saw what she created! Also, she just launched a line of party goods, available at Michaels including interchangeable cake stands and create your own custom sprinkle mixes! SSO good.
The ever addicting Waffle Luv catered and they were so great! We had Nutella and bananas, my favorite, and strawberries and whip cream (Sailor’s favorite).
Sugar seemed to have turned into a sub theme! We rented a cotton candy maker from Zurchers and had my little sister on that.
Cotton Candy piñata/wall decor: reconstructed a basic piñata I found at the Zurchers, stripped it down, sprayed it pink, then added the fluff. Easiest DIY I’ve ever done!
Circus Stand: Found the black tub at Target and used white masking take to create the triangles.. another insanely quick DIY.
Circus Stand party favor boxes: Inspired by these. Found clown noses here, Circus ring pops in store and Michaels, and bouncy balls here.
Party hats: bought these, added pom poms with spray glue.
Diamond hanging decor: found here
Vintage peanut bags, here. Peanut candy, here.
Sailor’s outfit: Rylee and Cru
